Outing to Ikea

A gloomy day it was today as the rain started falling down from the sky like how leaves would fall from trees and we decided to lift the mood of the day by decking out in colourful colours. Her in Yellow, Myself in Sky Blue. She was decking out in shorts and me in longs and i was saying how she would become hairier due to the cold climate and the body's natural inclination to produce more hair to keep the body warm. And with this marks the beginning of my exciting adventure with my dear yue yun as we explore the unknown and discover places which we only hear about in stories, places of legend.

The day started with the 2 of us on the wrong frequency because we keep misinterpreting each other's intentions and it was rather comical to see us trying to puzzle out what each other meant.

Sim Lim Square

Hunting for our Nano casing in Sim Lim was pretty enriching as we learnt that different stalls charge different prices and that the price difference can go up to $10 which means alot to poor students like us. Walking around in circles is also something that we subciously did. Bought a Nano casing for ourselves and for Elinn(YY's lil fren) after which begins our journey to the West.......but before that we had to find out how to get there.

Queensway Shopping Centre

The Rain was detering us from travelling but we perserve and finally made it to our next destination as mentioned above- Queensway Shopping Centre. We hunted for her personal stuffs and i kept a lookout for a pair of slippers for myself to replace the ageing pair that i currently have. Stayed there for quite a while as we explore the place and check out on stuffs that we would want to buy now or in the future. As always the rain was still fallin as we prepare to depart for the main event of today- IKEA.

IKEA

It was both our first time stepping into there in a very long while. We hit the Hotdog stand straight to sample the hotdogs that we heard so much about and have not sample in a very long while. after the short detour, it truely marks the beginning of our event. Inside, we were amazed by the displays that were set up to help consumers like you and i to choose what to buy or what type of design they want for their home. We were just like any of the couples that were there shopping for furniture. We spotted many potential furniture that we intend to get for our 2nd home, Changkat. Surprisingly, we bought all our things in pairs. A pair of Orange Towels, a pair of Black Toiletries Bag, A metal box with many little boxes inside which happen to come in pairs too and the design was rather nice too. Flowery type. After paying for our stuff, i witness first hand her wrapping skills. haha. i have no comments about it.

Breeko's

After our visit to IKEA, we left for our search for Holland Village and to our amazement we found out that it was so near IKEA haha. we are like a couple of toots. We had a sumptous dinner there followed by a waiting session for Eileen (YY's friend) to come and it is HOME SWEET HOME

Renovation

Jus some random stuff here.

haha. house under renovation is probably the most perfect reason for me to stay home and not go to school for Economics lessons. My holidays officially started when Project Work ended and there is no way anyone can dragged me to go to school against my will man. haha.

Went to watch the Exorism of Emily Rose with Sara and met his mother, Poh Ru. I think as a documentary it is pretty nice but as a movie it failed as the storyline is rather messy and the characters lacked depth. The plot development takes very long to develope and durin the movie Sara and i were actually laughing haha. no jk. Not recommended to watch unless u wanna burn some time.

Guess most of my hols this week and next will be spend at home as i will be away for 3wks for CLT Course. haha. and aft that am gg to look for a job to supplement my Christmas Shopping.
Next week furniture shopping with my dear yue yun, haha, she wanna go buy her pillow and bolster to hug i wanna go buy my shelves to decorate my renovated room from IKEA.

Spec Course

Decided to edit the post to a few days back to make it look like i have jus posted this during that time. wahaha. i knw i am being lame here.

anyways the past week has been a very very busy. stayed in camp for a grand total of 7 days. bleahs. how interesting can my life get man?

well Spec Course was a very interesting one this time round as not only was it small, alot of exciting events happen during the duration of the course. Our course warrant, Warrant Lim was totally different frm all the other warrants that are in NCC. He is very involved with the cadets and likes to get down and dirty with his man. Initally, there was conflict between him and us as we do not understand or seek to understand each other. it was only upon sitting down with him together with all the other CLTs and having a man to man talk then we came to an understanding. This session was a result of a mess walk out by the CLTs and i believe it is the first time that such an incident has happen during Spec Course.

In my honest opinion, i feel that half of those that pass out from Spec Course do not deserve their rank and badge. having them in Air is really a disgrace and one can see the difference in Phase 1 and 2. What others say about it is true. The bad grapes are all here in Phase 2 with a few exceptions. The highlite of the camp for me would be that i persuaded 2 cadets to stay on and finish the course. That wld probably be the highlite as it shows how influential CLTs can be in a cadet's life. These incidents really change my perspective about Spec Course.

Next 2 days in HQ, i spend with Aeromodelling and Remembrance Day. and once again NCC most famous saying manifest "Wait to Rush and Rush to Wait". We waited nearly 3hrs for the bus to come on Sunday for Remembrance Day and learned in the end that Major Henry did not indempt the bus. bleahs. waste time. On Saturday, Aeromodelling Comp. Changkat did not send any flyers as i feel that we wld onli go there and embarrass ourselves so i wld rather fly next yr when we are better prepared. SJI got KO even before their plane flew the first round and as expected their CO came running along to complain to Commander Air about it. haha. and after that SJI simply disappeared. They did not even stay for lunch man. lol. Sore Losers.

Sittin here ROTTING

Sitting down in MI (Bartley)'s computer lab ever since morning 8am, presenting presentation, listening in to presentation it has become a common routine for me for the past few weeks I am ROTTING man. haha. i can't wait for PW to be over and done with THEN that marks the starting of my long awaited, much anticipated HOLIDAYS. But this will not last long as 50th CLT Course is the upcoming main event. bleahs. 3 weeks in camp again how good can life gets man? haha. but on the brightside, i get paid. Speaking of which finding a job is top on my wish list, i hope there is some job out there for me so as to supplement my financial needs

As the saying goes, "Man has unlimited wants & needs" i can fully comprehend it as for the first time, i am faced with the possibilty of financial ruin. haha. due to overspending and undersaving. Bleahs.

NCC is also taking its toil on me, sleeping at 3am the earliest has become norm routine for me. haha. i got that feeling i was being influenced by my dear in sleeping late. haha. i have to juggle it with PW and as the days towards the various camps draw closer i get more anxious as i am afraid that the manpower side of the camps will be screwed up as most of the 48th are undependable except for a selected few. Seniors are all down for the start of their attachment and it is harder to use them already. If only the juniors are more sensible. well, i can only blame myself for not goin for their CLT Course and for Mazlinah for brainwashing them to work against us instead of with us.
Politics, Politics, Politics, it has more or less been part of my everyday life ever since i pass out as a CLT, it is fun to play but dangerous in a sense as we will be dragged further and further beyond the point of no return if we do not know when to stop. Backstabbing also occurs frequently and i experience first hand the impact that it may have on both the individual and groups. Air is my Life, i will do anything to ensure its survival, a legacy i hope to forge, a tradition i hope to carry on, the high expectations everyone has of me. I hope i lived up to it....

Selemat Hari Raya.

Firstly, I would like to wish all my Muslims bethrens out there, wherever you are a very happy new year! Selemat Hari Raya!

Today was such a boring day man. I woke up super early in the morning after which i proceed to school for my PW presentation. haha. the only cheering fact was that we did not spend 2hr45mins like SK's group the other day. We took only around 1hr30mins which i think is pretty much the standard time for a presentation cum discussion. Following which we set down as a group to finalise the slides. The only minus point was that Ayu was missing. hmmm. i really hope she turn up this Friday and not jeopardise our presentation.

My schedule is packed like sardine man. I simply cannot find time to have a proper life for this 2weeks. Bleahs. It seem so unlike me man. Better still, next week i have Spec Course to run and presentation to present. How good can life gets man? sighx. I hope this week and next passes quickly. haha. then after that am goin to look for jobs to supplement my Christmas spending. lala. 3 more weeks to 50th CLT Course. Need to train up man. haha. lose some weight and build some muscles is what i intend to do this few weeks leadin up to CLT Course. After all, that is the main event of the year for me besides IACE Canada.
